Salma vs. Quinn

Underwire

Salma and Quinn share the same underwire. It’s wide and flat at the bottom. It has a regular center gore height, and skews higher on the sides. It’s softer on smaller sizes, and more rigid on bigger sizes.

Shape

Salma offers separation with no forward projection (doesn’t push your breasts toward the center). If your breasts are “butterfly”-shaped or “splayed,” they will remain pointing outward with Salma on.

Quinn offers a very round shape, pulling breasts in from the sides while keeping them separated.

Both Salma and Quinn give a good lift. Quinn gives a slightly better lift because of its more rigid fabric.

Quinn – Lift: 8/10 / Centering: 8/10

Smoothness

Quinn is more t-shirt friendly than Salma. Through a thin white t-shirt, you can only see Quinn’s seams slightly, but you can see the graphic texture of Salma’s lace.

Breast Shape

Salma and Quinn fit the same breast shapes. If one of them works for you, the other one likely will work for you too. They suit breasts with wide roots, medium projection, and aren’t too picky about vertical fullness.

(Illustrations show side view when breasts are supported.)

Salma and Quinn don’t suit very shallow breasts with wide and tall roots (“plate-shaped”).

They work well for medium projection.

They may leave gaps for very projected breasts with short roots.
